Addiction: It Can Strike Where You Least Expect

Having been one of the few people on the face of the earth who DIDN'T go all experimental in college, I can't really speak from experience, but I have it on good authority that drug addiction is a disease, and one that only time and infinite love can cure.

Let us hope that Lady, the hallucinogen-addicted dog, can, with the help of those who love her (and possibly, I don't know, a FENCE, people?) can learn to live with her illness and stop sucking toads.

This post was brought to you with the help of Guy, who keeps homebound-me from becoming a unabomber.

My dog eats toads when we go to the cabin in the woods. He'll then stand still for an hour with glassy eyes and froth at the mouth. What can I do? He doesn't hassle me when I swig Jack Daniels from the bottle...
